BURGER SUNDAYS at Lone Madrone

OK. I realize that I am spoiled. I live in gorgeous wine country, work in the wine industry, and can take off for lunch to run off and visit the folks at Lone Madrone for fabulous burgers, wine and even cider on a Sunday afternoon (well every other Sunday, that is.) Not only is there food, but fabulous music as well as the gorgeous setting of Fat Cat Nursery & Farm.

The burgers. Jeff Scott from Vineyard Events Catering makes THE most amazing burgers. Now keep in mind, I'm a pescaderian - someone who eats mainly vegetarian but who also eats fish. I haven't had red meat in years. But today, because it was burger sunday (and we didn't know that they also offer a portobello mushroom option) we did the full on burger. OMG. This was the most amazing burger ever. I can't really describe it except to say how fresh, gourmet and scrumptious it was. Jeff Scott is an amazing chef!!! Below if a photo of him with the beautiful buger for Neil Collins himself. Isn't Chef Jeff cute? At one point I blew him a kiss and he blew one back to me! Boyfriend didn't mind as he was so thankful for the burger :) Here's the man in all of his glory:

Then the Lone Madrone folks hired fabulous music for our enjoyment. Today we had the band Rough House play and they were quite fabulous! Here are the boys:
